Robbie Robertson's passing saddened me. He was a colossal talent and a charismatic person. I will have to re-watch the Last Waltz (one of my favorite movies Evah!) through the lens of Scorcese's relationship with him. Somewhere Down that Lazy River is underappreciated, I think. It's on my Daddy's Faves along with so many of the Band's songs.
Own Tap. Have to get a copy of the Last Waltz.
I should watch them back to back!
You can never go wrong with that double feature. Tap is arguably my single most rewatched movie, and Waltz has gotta be way up on the list as well.
